A Look at 2024 Interior Design Trends

As you probably know, the trends for the coming year are born during the present year and mostly we see their beginning at the major design events, like Salone del Mobile. I have already published my impressions during my visit there in my post Design and innovation on the Milan scale* and in my earlier post here, as well as in many posts in my other blog Trendoffice, but now I would like to add some more trends that during the year have proved to be stable and for sure - going into the next year of 2024:

- This photo from the stand of Kartell unites several general trends - fluid forms, joyful color schemes, tactility and flexibility:

- Lighting is not only a statement piece, but it moves - portable lighting was very popular during Salone and now I can see more and more companies offer this type of lighting:

- And that is just a part of the more general trend of flexibility in interior and furniture design that allows us a freedom of use:

- another stable trend - fluidity and soft rounded forms:
